why aren't they very many African Americans in high end fashion shows?

I'll tell u why because the fashion industry is dominated by particular group of people who dont realize the beauty and uniqueness in different shades of color people other than the darkest of dark African Americans. The solution to this problem is to encourage minorities owners branch out into the fashion industry and do more than just model but lets establish our own high end fashion clothing lines and agencies

I agree! The fashion industry is so used to a particular "look" that a person must have to fit into there vision. We need to broaden our horizons and embrace our full lips, thick hips, and the different amount of colors, shapes, and sizes that we as a people come in. We are beautiful! Embrace it! James Brown said it best, " Say It Loud! I'm Black and I'm Proud!"
